At the touch of a button, a soothing green backlight illuminates the LCD display for nighttime viewing. The clock displays both the current time and alarm time at all times. Also, the clock is equipped with an audible alarm as an alternative to the vibrating alarm. Locking mechanism prevents accidental changes of time and alarm settings and a slide cover protects the LCD display.
