The SA-DS800 is packed with features but requires simple wiring to work. It can be installed in a home with or without an existing doorbell system. It comes with a doorbell button for homes without a doorbell system.
The telephone modular plug needs to be plugged into a telephone jack to activate the unit when the phone rings. When either the telephone or the doorbell ring, the SA-DS800 will flash a lamp plugged into it and will send a signal to other Sonic Alert receivers, such the Sonic Boom alarm clock, or the Sonic Blink. Five-year warranty.
