This Shake-Up kit is designed as a single or multi-function receiver, to alert a person to a fire. Because the Sidekick can signal other functions, other Silent Call transmitters can be added in the future when the need arises. The 6” (battery operated) smoke detector activates the strobe when smoke is detected. The Strobe and Sidekick are placed on a nightstand or a tabletop. The smoke detector (part# SC-1008-2) can be installed anywhere in the home within 100 feet of the Sidekick unit. Additional Sidekick receivers may be installed around the house. One smoke detector activates several Sidekick receivers. The SC-SU-24SK has a combination of 1 and 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
