Phone Amplifiers
Telephone amplifiers allow the user to amplify incoming sounds from 12dB to 40dB. There are telephone amplifiers for corded, cordless and cell phones.
Telephone Amplifiers for Corded Phones
Corded phone amplifiers can be used with digital business telephones or analog phones, like the type used at home. Some phone amplifiers have tone control to help improve clarity by increasing the high or low frequencies. These phone amplifiers are designed to be connected between the handset and the base of the phone.
Telephone Amplifiers for Cordless Telephones
Cordless telephone amplifiers are similar to those amplifiers used with cell phones. In addition the TA1 portable phone amplifier can be used with cordless and corded and public pay phones because it straps over the ear piece of the handset.
