Connect all existing alarm devices in your residence together with this system. The KR-WR-KA300 system allows you to monitor up to three alarm functions in your home or business, for example, fire and smoke, carbon monoxide, weather alerts, alarm system, etc. One transmitter KR-KA300TX and one KR-WR-300TX weather radio transmitter are included. Additional transmitters can be ordered separately.
The system includes the Midland KR-WR-300 weather alert radio, featuring continuous 24-hour weather forecast and bulletin broadcast monitoring from the National Weather Service channel. The Midland weather alert radio also incorporates the latest S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) technology, providing you with invaluable early warning information about approaching severe storms, which may threaten your area!
S.A.M.E. allows you to pre-program the weather radio and filter out distant weather warnings, instead localizing the alerts. This Midland emergency radio eliminates false alarms and can be programmed to monitor any of 30 different counties within your reception area. The Midland KR-WR-300 weather radio includes an AM/FM radio, variable volume control, telescoping antenna, digital clock with calendar mode and an alarm. The AM/FM radio will also automatically end and switch to emergency mode when an alert warning is broadcast.
Using a bright 177mCd strobe light, 95dB loud alarm and a powerful bed shaker, the KR-WR-KA300 system becomes the best choice for monitoring a building's alarm system (approx. 100 foot range). It is the first flexible alarm monitor system on the market designed for a small to large scale building. Battery backup keeps the system working even in a power blackout (vibrator and audible alarm only; strobe on KR-KA300RX Alarm Monitor does not work with battery power). Easy to setup, the system comes ready to install in a small residence, dormitory, apartment, motel or hotel. One year warranty.
